Ingredients:
- 1kg diced chicken breast or thigh
- 1 heaped tablespoon of garlic dip (toum), see note
- 1 heaped tablesooon greek yoghurt
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon capsicum paste, see note
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt to taste
Method:
- In a bowl, add the cubed chicken along with the rest of the ingredients. Coat well.
- Cover & refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Thread through some skewers & cook to your liking, BBQ is preferred for optimal flavour but they're just as delicious grilled or pan fried.
Serve with toum (Lebanese garlic dip), Tabouli & fries.
