Zaatar & Pomegranate Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 2kg Lamb Chump Chops
  • 2 heaped tablespoons Zaatar
  • 1 teaspoon Lebanese 7 spice
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • Salt & Cracked Black pepper to taste 
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate molasses 
  • 1/2 cup water 

Method

  • Whisk ingredients well, add to the lamb chops & marinate for 1hr. 
  • Place in a baking tray, cover tightly with foil & place in a preheated oven 150c for 2.5 hours turning half way.
  • Remove foil in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Reserve sauce to drizzle over chops when serving. 
  • Serve with rice, salad, bread.
