Ingredients
- 250g beef mince
- 1 onion
- 1/2 a cup vermicelli noodles
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon capsicum paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Lebanese 7spice
- 1 beef OR chicken stock cube
- 1 teaspoon dry mint
- Salt & pepper to taste
Method
- Finely chop the onion & cook in some olive oil until soft.
- Add the mince & cook until browned. Add the tomato paste, capsicum paste & stock cube. add the 7spice & dry mint.
- Cook for a few minutes before covering with approx. 1 litre of hot tap water.
- Bring to a boil before throwing in your vermicelli noodles. Simmer gently until noodles are cooked, adding more water if needed.
