Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast strips
- 1 tablespoon shawarma spice
- 1 teaspoon chicken spices or your favourite poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Black pepper & salt
- 1 tablespoon greek yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
Tahini sauce
- 1 small crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Salt
- Water to thin if needed
- Pinch of Paprika
Yellow Rice
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 small diced onion
- 2 crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 chicken stock cube
- Salt
Instructions

Whisk marinate ingredients together, pour over chicken & marinate minimum 4 hours.

Pan fry chicken until cooked and golden, serve over yellow rice (shown) Garnish with pickles of your choice, Drizzle tahini sauce & garnish with parsley. Serve immediately
Yellow Rice

Sautee onion in olive oil, add garlic, turmeric, stock cube & washed rice. Season & bring to the boil. Cover & reduce heat to lowest, cook for 18 minutes.
